Eureka Springs Mardi Gras 2020 is a month-long celebration full of events, parades, dining and reveling across historic downtown and its parks, shops, restaurants and hotels. This year’s festival kicks off on Jan. 11 and continues through Feb. 23, 2020.
A month-long Mardi Gras is tradition in Eureka Springs. Each year, visitors and locals alike are invited to take place in the festival’s parades, masquerade balls, brunches with beignets and café au lait, French/Cajun dining, costume parties and lots of second line parading — hosted by community groups like the Krewe of Krazo (Ozark spelled backward).
This year’s theme is “Fairytales, Fables and Folklore,” so don’t forgot your costumes, masks (and bling!) for events like the Costume Day Parade, a Taste of N’Awlins, the Black Light Ball and others.

Kings Day Kick-Off | Jan. 11 | Meet the Royal Court Gather downtown where this year’s reigning King and Queen will be introduced during the kick off of Mardi Gras 2020. The public is invited to join as the Royal Court leads everyone in a traditional second line parade.
Taste of N’Awlins | Feb. 1 |Grand Central Hotel and Taverne Let us take you to the French Quarter where you can indulge in hot beignets and café au lait and enjoy the sounds of a jazz trio. Cash bar and Royal Court presentation.
Coronation Ball | Feb. 14 | Inn of the Ozarks Socializing, drinks and the Grand Royal Procession, followed by dinner and dancing.
Costume Day Parade | Feb. 22 Floats, walkers, dancers, bands — even animals — will parade through historic downtown, led by that crazy Krew of Barkus!
Black Light Ball | Feb. 23 | Chelsea’s Corner Dance the night away at this glow spectacular! Black Light Ball features DJs pulsing beats all night long and body artists ready to paint! Appetizers and cash bar.
