August 18 is officially Never Give Up Day! The city of Fayetteville joins community members in celebrating Never Give Up Day on August 18th, 2023. Never Give Up Day is a celebration focused on cultivating a mindset of determination and highlights the unbelievable power of individuals who simply refuse to give in to life’s challenges.
Never Give Up Day provides a common platform that inspires individuals and professionals to organize virtual and physical events to take place on a local or national scale. The Mayoral proclamation signals the city’s role in recognizing the importance of perseverance. Never Give Up Day emerged from the fact that everyone working for the common good and providing the structure that protects and serves our community deserves to be commended and encouraged to never give up on their mission.
