5 Day Summer Camp – White/Green Level

The Green/White Camp: Fundamentals & Fun
This camp is the perfect starting point for beginner and beginner-intermediate riders looking to build a solid foundation of core mountain biking skills in a supportive, fun, and non-intimidating environment. The focus is on mastering the basics that make riding safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable!
Who This Camp Is For: Riders who are comfortable pedaling and stopping on a bike, but are new to trail riding, or those who have been riding for a while but want to solidify their essential skills.
Skill Focus: Fundamental techniques are the core of this program. We will spend significant time on:
Body Position: Learning the “attack position” and proper weight distribution.
Braking: Mastering controlled, effective braking for safety and speed management.
Shifting: Efficiently using gears to tackle hills and maintain momentum.
Cornering: Practicing basic cornering techniques on flat and bermed trails.
Trail Hazards: Identifying and riding over small obstacles (roots, rocks, small roll-downs).
The Vibe: High energy, confidence-building, and safety-focused. Expect lots of group games, skill challenges, and smiles while exploring easy-to-moderate trails.
