Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

Fall in love with Fayetteville’s most colorful display and celebration of nature’s unrivaled beauty. Not only a breathtaking garden, but an educational hub and epicenter of enlightening and wholesome outdoor events, there is more than meets the eye at the Botanical Garden of Ozarks.

Unique in more ways than just one, this botanical garden has the only butterfly house in the state of Arkansas. Year after year, visitors flock to the attraction to observe the lifecycle of native butterflies and are mesmerized by the Monarch, Pipevine Swallowtail, Giant Swallowtail and Spicebush Swallowtail. The garden is even a certified Monarch Waystation – an area that provides milkweeds, nectar sources and shelter needed to sustain monarch butterflies as they migrate throughout North America. Be on the lookout for Kiki the garden cat as you stroll through the grounds, home to bees busy with pollination and a variety of birds that can be observed in a dedicated bird watching area.
