Coffee, Crafts, and Conversation, Christmas Drive for Single Parent Scholarship Fund
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FAYETTEVILLE, AR – December 7, 2025 – The Fayetteville and surrounding communities are invited to spread holiday cheer and attend the Coffee, Crafts, and Conversation, Christmas Drive for Single Parent Scholarship Fund, also known as “Coffee, Crafts, and Conversation.” Organized by local non-profits NatureSTEAM and Native Expeditions. Courtney King and Robin Gregory, are spearheading this event along with cohosts Stephanie Shufelt, Robb Ryerse, Dana Dereee, and Christopher Hocevar. This event benefits the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSFNWA), aiming to collect essential items for local single-parent students and their families during the holiday season. The drive will take place on Sunday, December 14th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Good Dog Cafe (2640 E Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, AR).
The afternoon promises a cozy, festive atmosphere where attendees can enjoy coffee, crafts, and conversation while making a difference. As a thank you for their generosity, every attendee who contributes a donation will receive a complimentary cup of coffee from Weaving NWA and The Good Dog Cafe. The primary goal is to bring joy, essential resources, and much-needed support to SPSFNWA families as they navigate the challenging holiday season while balancing education and parenting.
“In addition, we’re always in need of essentials for our Recipient Supply Pantry, which helps single-parent families with items such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, and hygiene products. We also have a Walmart registry where items can be purchased and shipped directly to our office—an easy way to help meet immediate needs, especially during the holiday season when demand for basic supplies increases.” -Carrie Miller, of SPSFNWA
The public is strongly encouraged to participate. Donations sought include new or gently used, unwrapped toys, or non-perishable food, and essential pantry items. Please mark your calendars and join this impactful effort to support local families.
