SUMMARY:5 Day Summer Camp – Blue/Black Level
DESCRIPTION:The Blue/Black Camp: Advanced Skills & Trail Progression \nReady to take your riding to the next level? This camp is designed for experienced intermediate and advanced riders who have mastered the fundamentals and are seeking to push their limits\, conquer technical terrain\, and ride with greater speed and flow. \nWho This Camp Is For: Confident riders who are comfortable on most blue-level trails (moderate technicality and difficulty) and are eager to tackle black-level features (steep climbs\, technical rock gardens\, larger drops/jumps). \nSkill Focus: We move beyond the fundamentals and dive into advanced techniques for trail mastery: \nPumping & Flow: Generating speed and momentum without pedaling on rollers and bumps. \nAdvanced Cornering: High-speed cornering and railing berms with proper technique. \nDrops & Jumps: Safe and progressive instruction on executing small-to-medium drops and developing jumping skills (e.g.\, bunny hops\, manuals\, and table tops). \nTechnical Climbing/Descending: Advanced line choice\, weighting/unweighting\, and momentum management on steep\, technical terrain. \nBike Setup: Optimizing suspension and component settings for performance. \nThe Vibe: Challenging\, progressive\, and focused on performance. We’ll utilize technical trail features and dedicated skill zones to unlock greater control and confidence on difficult trails. \nPrerequisite: Participants should be comfortable riding a variety of blue trails and have their basic riding position\, shifting\, and braking dialed in. They should be able to ride on varied terrain (including climbing) for 30-45 minutes without stopping.

SUMMARY:AudaTours Bentonville Audio Tour: Echoes of Heritage and Hidden Downtown Marvels
DESCRIPTION:Beneath Bentonville’s postcard-perfect streets waits a hidden legacy: battles for justice\, whispered legends\, and tales that shaped a city long before bikes and art galleries. \nThis self-guided audio tour unlocks downtown secrets at your own pace\, blending big history with odd insider gossip. Discover the drama and meaning behind iconic landmarks and quiet corners most visitors stroll past. \nWhat really happened when tensions flared around the Bentonville Confederate Monument? Whose footsteps echo still through the shadows of the Massey Hotel’s old corridors? Why did a forgotten midnight duel change the fate of the town square? \nFollow city blocks layered with revolt and reinvention. Move through stories of fierce rivalry and quiet courage. Every stop offers a twist\, a secret\, and a new way of seeing the heart of Bentonville. \nThe stories have waited beneath the surface. Press play and draw them out.

SUMMARY:Opera in the Ozarks Presents Candide\, The Marriage of Figaro\, Suor Angelica\, & Gianni Schicchi
DESCRIPTION:Candide\, Leonard Bernstein’s satirical operetta based on Voltaire’s novella\, follows the naive Candide as he endures a whirlwind of disasters—war\, earthquake\, shipwreck\, slavery—while clinging to his tutor Dr. Pangloss’s lesson that this is “the best of all possible worlds”. He travels the globe searching for his love\, Cunegonde\, facing absurdity and cruelty. He eventually learns from his harrowing experiences (and meeting a wise old farmer) that true contentment comes from simple\, practical work\, famously summarized as “we must cultivate our garden”. \nLe nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) \, Mozart’s timeless comedy\, follows Figaro and Susanna\, servants to Count Almaviva\, on their wedding day. It is a day filled with schemes as they try to outwit the philandering Count\, who wants Susanna for himself\, and a vengeful Marcellina\, to whom Figaro owes money. The story culminates in a night of mistaken identities\, disguises\, and forgiveness\, where the Count’s plots unravel\, exposing his infidelities\, and the lovers ultimately get their happy ending. \nSuor Angelica & Gianni Schicchi\nThis is an evening of two one-act plays by Puccini. Suor Angelica (Sister Angelica) is a tragic one-act opera about a noblewoman forced into a convent after bearing an illegitimate child. Angelica lives in grief and longing for her son until her cruel aunt visits and reveals the boy died years ago. After a moment of despair and attempted suicide\, Angelica is granted a vision of the Virgin Mary and her son\, allowing her to die in peace. Gianni Schicchi is a comedy about greedy Florentine relatives who\, after their wealthy patriarch Buoso Donati dies\, discover he left his fortune to monks. This prompts them to hire the cunning Gianni Schicchi to impersonate Buoso and rewrite the will. Schicchi cleverly bequeaths the best parts to himself and his daughter Lauretta (who loves Donati’s nephew Rinuccio)\, teaching the family a lesson in greed with severe penalties for fraud.
