DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual All Fool’s Day Parade returns to Eureka Springs\, Arkansas on Thursday\, April 1. This lighthearted downtown tradition invites everyone to take part in one of the most unusual Eureka Springs events of the year. \nParticipants will gather at Mojo’s Records in Eureka Springs at 1 pm before the parade begins at 2 pm. The walking route travels from Mojo’s Records through downtown to Basin Park\, right in the center of the historic district. \nThis is known as the People’s Parade\, which means no sponsors\, no cars\, and no floats. It is simply a walking parade open to anyone who wants to join in the fun. Families\, visitors\, and locals are all welcome to participate. \nBring your kids\, your dogs\, your goats\, or just bring yourself. Costumes\, silly ideas\, and creative characters are encouraged. If you enjoy quirky local traditions and things to do in Eureka Springs\, this parade is one of the most entertaining ways to experience the town. \nAnyone can join. Kicking things off at 7:30 PM is Honeysuckle Jam\, then Adam Mac takes the stage as part of his Southern Spectacle Tour! \nAdam Mac is like no one else you know. A true Southern Spectacle and one of queer country’s leading voices\, the inspiring singer-songwriter is brave enough to truly be himself – and help others do the same. His third album\, Southern Spectacle\, is a loud-and-proud soundtrack for those who break the mold\, mixing the joyful energy of pop and funk with a down-home heart (because nobody is just one thing). Raised in Russellville\, Kentucky\, Mac grew up a farm-and-church kid loving The Spice Girls and Shania Twain\, who’s non-stop. Singing soon moved from the bedroom to Sunday services and talent shows. By 22\, he had moved to Nashville to write songs he thought the mainstream would accept\, but by his own admission\, nearly 10 years of struggle led nowhere – until he realized he was doing “three chords and the truth” all wrong. Fusing vocal soul with a danceable country-funk mix (and the full fabulousness of his personality)\, 2023’s breakout hit “Disco Cowboy” set Mac free. The rapturous music video held the #1 spot on CMT’s 12-Pack Countdown for four weeks\, leading to a full album of the same name and a pandora’s box of conversations. \nAfter protestors forced Mac to cancel a hometown performance\, waves of supporters joined his cause\, including Kelsey Ballerini and Maren Morris\, who invited Mac to open her Lunatic Tour in Chicago. The national media also took notice\, with Mac’s music hailed by Billboard\, Entertainment Weekly\, Out\, GLAAD\, and PEOPLE\, calling Mac “country music’s very own Elton John.” Southern Spectacle is the end result – a definitive intersection of country music and queer identity. Arriving in 2025\, 12 songs co-written by Mac with close friends (including at least one other queer creator on each track) mark a work of cloud-nine courage\, with a resilient\, revelatory sense of self-acceptance. SUMMARY:4th Annual Passion Play Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs will host the 4th Annual Passion Play Trail Run on April 3\, 2027. \nThis will be run on the amazing Great Passion Play Trails that are a part of the Oz Trail System of Northwest Arkansas.  Runners will get to experience all the aspects of the Passions Play grounds including “Keep Your Eyes on Christ” with all runners going by the Christ of the Ozarks Statue\, experiencing parts of The Holy Land Tour\, and miles of amazing nature and scenery. \nThe four distances are designed to have something for everyone – Fun Run\, 5k Trail Run\, 5 Mile Trail Run\, and Half Marathon Trail Run – all happening on the morning of Saturday\, April 3rd.  \nFun Run:\nThis will be an all-road course to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue and then looping around the Passion Play grounds. \n5k Trail Run:\nWe have redesigned this course after feedback from our 2025 runners that the 5k route was too difficult.  We are going to stay more “on top of the hill” that the passion play amphitheater\, and the Christ of Ozark Statue sits on.  This course will still be a challenge but will be much easier on runners and will also take in much more of the scenic aspects of the grounds including running across the stage of the passion play and going by the tabernacle and other great aspects of the Holy Land Tour. \n5 Mile Trail Run:\nStarts by running to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue and then on trails: Genesis\, Holy Roller\, Genesis\, Passover\, Revelation for an out and back loop around the Sea of Galilee\, Genesis\, and then finishes by going through the gates of Old City of Jerusalem (See Map Below).  \nHalf Marathon Trail Run:\nThis will be a combination of the 5k and 5 Mile Courses.  Starts by running to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue on the 5 Mile Course\, then the 5k course\, and then a backwards loop of the 5-mile course.  The 3 laps (5 miles\, 3.1 miles\, and 5 miles)\, added up to 13.1 miles.  \nRegistration Details & Prices: \n– All Participants that register by March 20th will get an event t-shirt!
