SUMMARY:5 Day Summer Camp – Blue/Black Level
DESCRIPTION:The Blue/Black Camp: Advanced Skills & Trail Progression \nReady to take your riding to the next level? This camp is designed for experienced intermediate and advanced riders who have mastered the fundamentals and are seeking to push their limits\, conquer technical terrain\, and ride with greater speed and flow. \nWho This Camp Is For: Confident riders who are comfortable on most blue-level trails (moderate technicality and difficulty) and are eager to tackle black-level features (steep climbs\, technical rock gardens\, larger drops/jumps). \nSkill Focus: We move beyond the fundamentals and dive into advanced techniques for trail mastery: \nPumping & Flow: Generating speed and momentum without pedaling on rollers and bumps. \nAdvanced Cornering: High-speed cornering and railing berms with proper technique. \nDrops & Jumps: Safe and progressive instruction on executing small-to-medium drops and developing jumping skills (e.g.\, bunny hops\, manuals\, and table tops). \nTechnical Climbing/Descending: Advanced line choice\, weighting/unweighting\, and momentum management on steep\, technical terrain. \nBike Setup: Optimizing suspension and component settings for performance. \nThe Vibe: Challenging\, progressive\, and focused on performance. We’ll utilize technical trail features and dedicated skill zones to unlock greater control and confidence on difficult trails. \nPrerequisite: Participants should be comfortable riding a variety of blue trails and have their basic riding position\, shifting\, and braking dialed in. They should be able to ride on varied terrain (including climbing) for 30-45 minutes without stopping.

SUMMARY:Come From Away at Arkansas Public Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Arkansas Public Theatre is thrilled to present Come From Away\, the inspiring Broadway musical based on the true story of 7\,000 airline passengers who were stranded in the small town of Gander\, Newfoundland\, in the days following September 11\, 2001. At a time of fear and uncertainty\, one community opened its doors with extraordinary kindness\, humor\, and heart. This beautiful production is a moving celebration of compassion\, connection\, and humanity at its very best. \nThis production is especially meaningful for us and for our community. Following the Memorial Day tornadoes that hit Rogers\, our theatre has been dark for nearly two years while we underwent extensive repairs. We have worked incredibly hard to build ourselves back up\, and we believe Come From Away is exactly the kind of story Northwest Arkansas needs right now: one about neighbors helping neighbors\, communities coming together\, and hope finding its way through heartbreak. \nTickets are on sale now for only six performances: June 19–21 and June 26–28. \nEvent Details\nArkansas Public Theatre presents Come From Away\nDates: June 19–21 and June 26–28\nTicket prices: $35 balcony\, $45 standard floor\, $55 premium floor/floor seating in the first five rows\nTickets: https://stubs.net/o/169-S5NLEU/arkansas-public-theatre\nVenue: The Victory Theatre; 116 S 2nd St\, Rogers\, AR 72756\nMore information: https://www.arkansaspublictheatre.org/ \nFor help with tickets\, group seating\, or group pricing\, guests may contact our Executive Director\, Jacob Andrews\, at manager@arkansaspublictheatre.com.

SUMMARY:Summer Institute
DESCRIPTION:NWA Space and Science Center is proud to announce the launch of its Summer Institute\, a new\, week-long STEM-focused summer program designed to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists\, engineers\, and innovators across Northwest Arkansas. \nThe Summer Institute will include six hours of engaging programming each day\, offering immersive\, hands-on STEM experiences for middle and high school students. Through interactive projects\, expert-led instruction\, and real-world applications\, students will explore astronomy\, planetary science\, engineering\, and space exploration\, bringing science to life in meaningful and memorable ways. \nThe program will be held at the Jones Community for Nonprofits in Rogers. Our professional instructors will ensure age-appropriate instruction and experience levels. In addition to on-site programming\, the Summer Institute will include an exciting offsite day\, extending learning beyond the classroom and offering students a real-world STEM experience. \nThe inaugural 2026 theme is Space Exploration\, a high-impact\, hands-on experience where students won’t just learn about space…they’ll explore it. Junior high and high school students will participate in separate\, tailored programs\, allowing for deeper learning and collaboration at each level. \nTuition for the Summer Institute is $425\, with a $50 early registration discount available until May 30th using the code FirstLaunch. A few need-based scholarships will be offered on a first-come\, first-served basis; interested families should contact Katherine Auld at katherine.auld@nwaspace.org. Community members interested in supporting access to STEM education can sponsor a student by selecting “Registration & Donate” and choosing “I’d just like to donate.” \nWith the launch of the Summer Institute\, NWA Space and Science continues its mission to expand access to high-quality STEM education and inspire lifelong learning through discovery\, exploration\, and innovation. \nTo register\, visit https://givebutter.com/nwa-space-summer-institute.
