DESCRIPTION:An annual stop on the Arkansas Enduro Series\, the Eureka Enduro is a rowdy weekend of racing through the “Little Switzerland of the Ozarks” and the Victorian-style resort town of Eureka Springs. The community is home to some of the best mountain biking in Arkansas\, including the Lake Leatherwood Gravity Park\, which is the largest gravity park in the state. For 2025\, the Eureka Enduro is being held in conjunction with the Eureka Springs Fat Tire Festival – a three-day family-friendly mountain bike festival\, September 25-27\, 2026. \nParticipants can expect a rewarding enduro race experience with up to 8 stages and ~20 miles of rider-designed racing\, an additional pro/expert and eMTB only stage\, dedicated pre-race practice times\, sufficiently marked courses\, lively mid-race aid stations with access to professional neutral mechanics and medical support\, professional event timing\, complimentary post-race meal and beverages in a family-friendly festival setting\, and an awards ceremony with category prizes awarded 5 deep!

Attendees can expect a full schedule of activities including vendors\, camping\, food trucks\, raffles\, giveaways\, games\, and handcrafted awards — and of course\, an incredible lineup of minitrucks. \nRegistration will open Friday at noon and continue early Saturday morning. The main show will run all day Saturday. The award ceremony will take place late Saturday afternoon\, recognizing the Top 35 builds and other standout entries. DESCRIPTION:A 60 minute walking tour through a peaceful and well-maintained setting covering many historical remnants led by period-dressed guides. \nStep into the past with the Eureka Springs Historical Cemetery Tour\, a guided 60-minute walking tour offered every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.\, April through September\, at 4127 East Van Buren. Led by knowledgeable guides in period attire\, this tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history of Eureka Springs through its beautifully maintained cemetery grounds. \nFounded in 1880 by the Lamar Family and later donated to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows #83 in 1889\, the cemetery has long been a place of significance in Carroll County. In 1966\, it was deeded to the City of Eureka Springs\, and in 1978\, it was officially established as a municipal cemetery through Ordinance 1031. \nCovering 46 acres?with approximately 29 acres currently known as the main cemetery and an additional 17 acres across County Road 205?the grounds hold the interments or remains of more than 4\,500 people. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 8\, 2018\, recognizing its importance in the heritage of the area. \nVisitors will encounter a variety of unique and historic gravestones\, including unusual monuments\, rocks with names\, memorials to Woodsmen\, and veterans of six or more wars\, offering a rich glimpse into the lives and stories of those who shaped the local community. \nAdmission for children 12 and under is free. A welcoming and inclusive weekend refuge that invites beginners and long time bicycle lovers to Eureka Springs for group rides\, work shops\, on-bike clinics for all levels\, live music and an opportunity to be held in community. Since launching in 2019 the event has received extensive coverage celebrating our commitment and success as a welcoming space to step into the world of bicycles.

DESCRIPTION:The Bella Vista Animal Shelter will host its 21st Annual Wiener and Corgi Dog Race on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, at the former Berksdale Golf Course on Hwy 71\, north of Allen’s Food Market. For the day\, the site will be renamed “Barksdale.” This year’s theme is “Hairy Paw-ter\,” and the event includes a costume contest (categories: Spookiest\, Best Witch/Wizard/Warlock\, and Most Original and Cutest)\, a musical sit contest\, a Bella Vista Police Department K9 demonstration\, and the wiener and corgi races themselves\, followed by an all-breeds “wanna be” race\, semifinals\, and the finals and Grand Champion race. The shelter’s 2027 Pet Calendar will be available for purchase at the event. Registration for racers is $25 before September 22 and $50 after; observers attend free of charge.
