The 2019 NCAA Golf Championships will be held May 17-29 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville.
This major event is a 72-hole stroke play team competition that concludes with the top eight teams participating in a match play playoff.
The women’s championships are May 17-22, followed by the men’s on May 24-29.
The NCAA Golf Championships will begin with four rounds of stroke play to determine the individual winner. The field will be cut to 15 teams and individuals after the first three rounds. A second cut after the fourth day of play trims the field to eight teams who move on to match play until a team champion is crowned!
Between the teams, their families, friends and fans, the championships are expected to draw between 5,000 to 10,000 visitors to Northwest Arkansas. Blessing Golf Club is located in Johnson and is the home to the University of Arkansas Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams. Designed with comfort for guests, it provides a superior golfing experience that tests championships golfers at every shot.
The NCAA Golf Championships are sure to be an exciting event for the entire family, and golf fans of all ages are encouraged to take part. Volunteer opportunities will be available, and are a great way to experience the championship from a unique perspective, whether its inside the ropes on the course of up-close with the pros.
In addition to the golf competition, the championships will feature community events, family activities, food and vendors.
