Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Crystal Bridges brings together the best of art, nature and architecture for visitors of all ages to enjoy. The museum’s distinctive building was designed by worldrenowned architect Moshe Safdie and features two bridge structures spanning a natural waterway. Inside, Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection highlights hundreds of works by American masters from colonial times to the present, enhanced by a year-round schedule of temporary exhibitions. Temporary exhibitions for 2020 include: Hank Willis Thomas: All Things Being Equal, Feb. 8 – April 20; State of the Art 2020, Feb. 22 – May 24; Ansel Adams: In Our Time, May 23 – Sept. 7; and Craft, Oct. 10 – Feb. 1, 2021. Enjoy more than four miles of trails within the museum’s 120-acre setting, inviting you to explore the natural Ozark woodlands. The grounds feature important architectural works, including a Usonian house designed in 1954 by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and the Fly’s Eye Dome, designed by American inventor R. Buckminster Fuller. When you visit enjoy award-winning High South cuisine in Eleven, the museum’s restaurant.
